WHAT IS THE BIDEN 600K USCAIAXIOS?

BIDEN 600K USCAIAXIOS: US President Joe Biden has made the cybersecurity of the US a top priority. This is especially important because the US is facing a significant staffing shortage. Although the US has taken several steps to protect the digital infrastructure, there are still plenty of gaps in the cybersecurity workforce. Luckily, there are some steps that can help fill these gaps.

JOE BIDEN HAS TAKEN A CYBER SECURITY INITIATION

While Facebook and Instagram have made announcements about end-to-end encryption, the US context has yet to make such an announcement. However, the Biden administration has pushed the G7 countries to take action against ransomware and has called on NATO to update its cyber policies.

The president has also urged companies to secure their systems against cyberattacks. The president said it is a “patriotic duty” for business leaders to “harden their digital doors.” And while the federal government is doing its part to prepare for cyber attacks, private companies should do the same.

HE’S NAME-CHECKED TRUMP THREE TIMES IN SPEECH

In his convention speech Thursday night, Joe Biden name-checked Donald Trump three times. Biden’s speech was centered on standing up to Trump and MAGA supporters and was filled with references to the president. But what was Biden’s purpose in mentioning Trump three times?

Although the president’s immigration policies have been criticized for allowing undocumented immigrants to enter the U.S. illegally, most of these migrants are air travelers and Spanish-speaking. Biden also mentioned the undocumented population as a whole. While border-crossings still constitute the majority of undocumented immigration, the recent surge at the border could have dramatically changed those percentages.

While lauding the recent economic growth, Biden gives too much credit to his administration. The economy was already rebounding from the pandemic when the president took office. As a result, the president’s $600 checks are being reflected in the strong first quarter, but the full impact will not be felt until later in the year.

HE’S A SOCIAL WORKER

Joe Biden is an American senator and former Vice President of the United States. Before running for president, Biden worked as a social worker in Delaware. He has two sons and a daughter. His daughter Ashley is a social worker and the executive director of the Delaware Center for Justice. He has five grandchildren.

HE HAS FIVE GRANDCHILDREN

Joe Biden is a grandfather of five children. His oldest child is Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015. His second child, Natalie, was born last year. She has been more active in supporting her grandfather. Her mother used to bring dead snakes on runs to scare people. Biden also has two other grandchildren. The younger one is called Hunter, who was confirmed to be her father.

The family is close to Joe Biden. He and his wife, Dr. Jill, are close to their grandchildren. They have featured prominently in his presidential campaign, and are expected to make appearances in his administration. While they’ve only recently been revealed, it is safe to assume that the grandchildren will be featured more frequently during the next few years.

Joe Biden’s children call him “Pop.” They call him “Pop” all the time. The oldest is Naomi, born in 1993. She is the daughter of Hunter Biden and Kathleen. She is a recent graduate of Columbia Law School, and was also a classmate of Tiffany Trump when she attended the University of Pennsylvania. Naomi has since graduated from Columbia Law School and will be the guest speaker at the virtual graduation ceremony, which will be held in 2020.

Innoviz lidar will be on all VW vehicles with automated driving capabilities

Innoviz will supply its lidar sensors and perception software to all vehicles with self-driving capabilities under the Volkswagen Group brands, the company said on Tuesday.

Innoviz will work directly with Cariad SE, VW’s automotive software company, to integrate its technology into future VW vehicles.

The partnership with VW is Innoviz’s third design win with a Tier 1 supplier. BMW revealed in April that Innoviz lidar would be installed on 2023 BMW i7 electric vehicles, and last May Innoviz was selected by another unknown Tier 1 vehicle supplier for its autonomous transport program.

VW has yet to reveal which models will be built first using Innoviz technology, but the automaker has taken several steps to improve its advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving capabilities. Earlier this year, Cariad and Bosch partnered to develop automated driving software for use in VW vehicles, and in May, VW selected the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride platform for its ADAS and automated driving system.

Innoviz says the VW program, which brings with it an estimated $4 billion order book, boosts the startup’s total sales to $6.6 billion.

Innoviz claims to be able to achieve high levels of performance, visibility up to 300 meters, at low cost using a 905 nanometer (nm) laser. Velodyne, a lidar competitor, also uses a 905nm laser and claims it can operate up to 300 meters. However, the highest performance Velodyne lidar is 128 lines at up to 20 fps. By comparison, Innoviz has 600 lines at up to 20 frames per second, the company says.

Innoviz CEO Omer Kaylaf says Velodyne products are valued at thousands of dollars, while Innoviz is valued at hundreds. TechCrunch was unable to confirm spending with Velodyne.

“What really sets Innoviz and this deal apart is that we won the deal as a Tier 1 supplier,” Kailaf told TechCrunch. “Innoviz is the only lidar manufacturer to receive this title. This signals a major change, not just for Innoviz, but for the entire automotive industry, in how automakers partner with their technology providers. As a Tier 1 supplier, we benefit from direct access to OEMs as well as higher margins and profits.”

However, Soulja Boy continued, “I’m going to decorate the agency, we’re going to take Atari to the subsequent stage. Follow anyone @Atari. I very personal Atari now.”

As mentioned in The Gaming Bible, the rapper has added severa SouljaGames-branded consoles of his very personal in current years, even though the ones were found to have stolen designs that were grew to grow to be down by using the usage of Sony and Nintendo felony professionals.

Get to know more about various subjects owner of atari

However, inside the video he claimed that Atari modified into “sincerely pleased with what I did with the Soulja Boy activity console” and that he became going to promote the organisation for US$140million.

However, Atari has spoke back to the claims in recent times (August 20) via Twitter: “We recognize the CEO of Atari has a dream interest, but that honor belongs to Wade Rosen.”

Atari launched a new console in June, a modern-day take on the traditional 1977 VCS device that comes pre-mounted with traditional Atari games, however moreover capabilities as a Linux-powered PC.

The industrial employer organisation moreover stated that it will bypass some distance from the unfastened-to-play and mobile markets to recognition on top charge console and PC video video games.

Elsewhere, a modern-day video file alleges that Roblox is exploiting younger activity builders. The research claims that the platform encourages its clients, especially youngsters, to create and monetize their video games, however the methods endorse that very little sales truly leaves its surroundings.

How Atari’s New Ceo Wants To Recharge The Logo

Wade Rosen explains the enterprise’s go with the flow some distance from cell and unfastened-to-play, in addition to why Atari undermines the on line casino brand but Atari Hotels would not

Few manufacturers have a beyond in gaming as prolonged — or as checkered — as Atari. Since kickstarting both the arcade and home gaming scene within the Seventies and early Eighties, the Atari call has changed arms numerous times, with each new stewards of the logo in search of to move returned it to its glory days. The fact that Target’s management stays unchanged from group to management speaks to now not simplest the constrained achievement they have had to this point, but the enduring fee of the Atari call.

Currently, the man or woman in fee of Atari is CEO Wade Rosen, who changed into named to that role in April and some months later noticed a strategic pivot for the corporation a ways from cellular and loose-to-play video games and in the course of pinnacle elegance PC and console titles. Was introduced. , The first glimpse of that trade came these days with the release of Centipede: Recharged at some point of multiple structures. A remake of the particular arcade activity with revised visuals, new challenges and an real score by way of using Megan McDuffie, Centipede: Recharge hobbies to set the tone for a Recharge line in which Black Widow, Asteroids and Breakout may be given equal remedy.

In his first English language interview due to the fact taking place of job, Rosen described the purpose within the again of the trade.

“It’s wished because the marketplace wasn’t surely certain, or wasn’t clean about what we have been doing,” Rosen says. “Atari become synonymous with doing loads of things, but now not simply explaining why they have been doing those subjects, what their motivation changed into, or wherein the ones motives have been coming from. So the focal point at the video games supposed to do because it’s why human beings recognize us. Instead of trying to find to rediscover ourselves in a TV employer, a on-line on line casino operator, or all of these one of a kind topics, we’ve got got were given become referred to as a online game company. “

Internal TV manufacturing and on-line on line casino operations have been  of the organizations Atari dropped among shifts. However, it is covered in TVs through licensing offers. This maintains with a modern-day line of hotels as well, and there is in spite of the reality that an Atari blockchain department working on Atari-branded cryptocurrency, NFTs, and one-of-a-kind such efforts.

When we ask if all this does not dilute the brand besides, Rosen says there are some issues the commercial enterprise enterprise addressed even as considering those efforts.

“The first question is ‘Does this make enjoy?’ Does it endorse the emblem and does it offer clarity? If no longer, we in all likelihood may not. If it does, the question is, do you do it internally or now not?”

On the primary question, Rosen says that Atari has grew to become down “hundreds” of licensing offers that could have been underwhelming. For the second question, he emphasizes the rate of diverting the organization’s hobby.

“On the online casino element, it didn’t definitely make experience on masses of degrees as it changed into every producers skinny, and it changed into soaking up some of time from the group,” Rosen says.

As for motels, Rosen says he emerge as skeptical at the start, but came round for the identical reasons as Nintendo became making plans to gather a Mario theme park. With Universal Studios turn out to be a great concept.

It’s no longer only a everyday motel with the Atari brand, Rosen says. It will create some of logo dilution, however what they’re hoping to gather and assemble and bring to the area is some element very specific and unique, and might healthy truely properly for Atari to try.

After the restructuring, Atari now has extra business agency traces. There’s the gaming business enterprise, the Atari VCS hardware commercial enterprise, the blockchain industrial commercial enterprise corporation, and the licensing enterprise corporation (which handles now not high-quality motels and T-shirts, however moreover licensed gaming products similar to the Atari Flashback microconsole or arcade 1up device). Rosen says there’s though collaboration a few of the corporations, but every is extra focused on their respective regions, in place of dividing the company’s time into separate efforts.

He would no longer communicate this mission rely earlier than, so we ask approximately the capability pitfalls of associating the antique style Atari emblem with tasteless groups like actual-money gambling and blockchain, which isn’t always only a favorite device of scammers and ransomware. Is. Hackers however have wonderful environmental charges and characteristic demonstrated few realistic packages beyond hypothesis. (GamesIndustry.Biz determined to lessen its blockchain coverage in advance this 12 months.)

FTC slams Opendoor with $62M settlement over false advertising claims

Opendoor has agreed to pay $62 million to settle the costs of the Federal Trade Commission, which says the company’s claims that it helps people make more money by selling their home to a company rather than listing it on the open market are misleading.

For years, the real estate tech company has advertised itself using its pricing technology to offer “more accurate offers and lower costs,” the FTC said. These “iBuyers” use this method to make quick offers on homes, enthusiastically claiming that sellers will make thousands of dollars more than they would on the open market.

But according to the FTC, this was not true.

The commission claims that Opendoor’s bids were not only below market value for the home, but that the company was actually asking sellers to pay more for repairs to the home, “which turned out to be higher than we expected.” sale.”

The FTC says it will use the $62 million settlement to make amends to affected individuals.

Opendoor addressed the situation in a written statement:

While we disagree with the FTC’s assertions, our decision to settle with the Commission will allow us to resolve this issue and focus on helping consumers buy, sell and move with ease, confidence and speed.

It is important to note that the allegations brought by the FTC relate to actions that took place between 2017 and 2019 and targeted marketing messages that the company changed several years ago. We are happy to put this issue behind us and look forward to continuing to provide consumers with a state-of-the-art real estate experience.

The settlement is a blow not only to Opendoor, but to the entire iBuying industry, which has been dealing with such claims for years. Opendoor has a number of competitors, including established channels featuring traditional agents, and others like Compass and Redfin (which collectively laid off more than 900 employees earlier this year) are also trying to change the previous mold. creating things Startups around the world are often advertised as “Open Doors for _“.

Whether the full amount of the settlement is paid depends on whether the matter is handled by the Department of Justice, which is responsible for collecting on behalf of the FTC on these matters, as sometimes fines are not paid or they are significantly reduced.

For its part, Opendoor went public at the end of December 2020 following the completion of a planned merger with SPAC Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings II, led by investor Chamat Palihapitiya. The eight-year-old company offered its shares to the public for the first time at $31.47 per share. The stock traded at $4.78 after hours today, just above the company’s 52-week low of $4.30. This means the company is valued at just under $3 billion, up from an $8 billion valuation in 2021.

In terms of venture capital, Opendoor last raised $300 million at a pre-investment valuation of $3.5 billion in March 2019. Over time, the company has raised about $1.3 billion in equity and nearly $3 billion in debt to fund its home. . purchases. Adaptive robot maker flexiv chinese ai series raises over $100 million

As companies around the world look to automate production lines and supply chains, robot companies are attracting a lot of interest from investors. The latest to receive funding is flexiv chinese ai series, which closed a Series B round for more than $100 million from investors, including Chinese on-demand services giant Meituan, TechCrunch has learned.

Other major investors in the strategic round include Chinese venture capital firm Meta Capital, large Chinese agricultural company New Hope Group, private equity firm Longwood, Jack Ma’s YF Capital, well-known equity firms Chinese venture firms Gaorong Capital and GSR Ventures. . as well as Plug and Play companies in China and the US. The new round has brought the startup’s capital raised so far to more than $120 million.

The company operates in several major cities in China and California, with two-thirds of its employees in China, a common strategy for AI startups led by Chinese founders who have worked or studied in the US.

In 2016, Wang Shiquan, a graduate of Stanford’s Biomimetic and Skillful Manipulation Laboratory, founded flexiv chinese ai series, which specializes in building adaptive robots for the manufacturing industry. With the new capital, the startup plans to bring its AI-powered general-purpose robots to other areas such as services, agriculture, logistics, and healthcare.

For example, through strategic investment, Meituan flexiv chinese ai series can implement its solutions into an investor’s core food delivery business, which includes high-volume, repetitive tasks and is ready for automation.
Meanwhile, there is still a lot of room for automation in traditional manufacturing, Wang said in an interview with TechCrunch. Consumer electronics especially require very precise and delicate manufacturing processes, which means that the production line often has to be updated for a new product. Wang said flexiv chinese ai series robots equipped with force feedback and computer vision systems can adapt to new circumstances and potentially save factory supervisors time and money when setting up new equipment.

The founder added that the company’s flexible robots are what set it apart from many existing players.

“Conventional robotic arms can perform tasks safely when there are no obstacles around, but they are less capable of working in harsh conditions… Many seemingly simple tasks, such as washing dishes, actually require a lot of AI-based recognition and decision power. . “.

The company started mass production in the second half of this year and has produced around 100 robots so far. He plans to monetize through the sale of robots, software licenses and after-sales service. So the challenge is finding partners and customers across a wide range of industries to trust in your nascent technology.

China remains flexiv chinese ai series largest market, while North America is a key market in terms of expansion. “Each country has its own competitive advantages in the field of robotics,” Wang suggested. “China’s advantage lies in manufacturing, supply chains and labor costs.”

“In the field of traditional and adaptive robotics, the gap between different countries is definitely closing,” the founder said.

Why Does My Dishwasher Smell Like Rotten Eggs

There can be a couple of reasons why your dishwasher might be giving off a strange odor, including a faulty filter or even a gas leak.

If you think this might be something to worry about, turn the appliance off immediately and take the appropriate steps to resolve any issues that may cause dangerous situations.

However, if your dishwasher smells like rotten eggs but there’s no clear reason as to why we have some tips below that can help get rid of any bad odors along with other issues you may experience in your kitchen.

Why Does My Dishwasher Smell Like Rotten Eggs

Trying to explain why my dishwasher stinks like rotten eggs is our mission.

Dishwasher Causes Rotten Egg Smell

The smell of eggs coming from a dishwasher is often caused by food particles since most people are not aware their dishwasher needs a regular clean. Air gaps or drain hose issues can also cause this smell.

When there’s too much water in the hoses, it will not drain properly, which affects the odor inside as well as staining in your sewage pipes.

A Dishwasher Smell Removal Guide

How to get rid of the rotten egg smell that comes from dishwashers is explained here.

Checking Hose: Dishwashers can make an otherwise quiet day in the kitchen a bit more complicated with unpleasant smells. Luckily, dishwasher odors can be easily resolved! If your dishwasher is giving off an odor like rotten eggs, there are many possible reasons behind this mystery.

If you’re experiencing a foul-smelling dishwasher, you may want to take a look at the removable drain hoses for clogs or kinks that might hold food particles and water.

The hose should be washed with warm, soapy water after every use to ensure its efficacy.

Checking Gasket: A gasket or a seal is one of the reasons for a dishwasher to smell like eggs. One way or the other food buildup can occur after prolonged use of the dishwasher. Cleaning is relatively easy, though.

A clean dry cloth should be used to wipe a gasket down after it has been removed from the unit.

Make a cleaning solution with either soap and warm water or baking soda and soak your cloth in that solution, then use it to clean the gasket with that solution to get rid of any foul-smelling odors.

Filter Deposits: Having a dirty filter is another reason why the dishwasher smells like rotten eggs. You can tell if there is too much steam coming from the machine if you open the door while it is in cleaning mode.

A dirty filter can usually be found near the bottom of your machine, where you normally place your Rinse Aid or any other detergent additives such as grease-eating chemicals.

If you notice a strong chemical smell when you’re using rinse aid, we recommend switching brands immediately to avoid any lingering effects on your dishes due to problematic ingredients. Many liquid detergents contain ingredients that are resistant to hard water. Here are Best dishwasher detergent for hard water.

Dishwasher Tips for Preventing Rotten Egg Smell

1. To end up with clean-smelling dishes, it’s essential that one run warm water inside the sink before washing them.

This will help get rid of any dirt or grime before starting on a load of dishes in an effort to avoid wasting time later on because your dishwasher might otherwise pick up stains or other unwanted leftovers that were previous still stuck onto your plates and pots.

2. Prepare your dishwasher before loading it with dishes. Food particles larger than a grain of rice should not get stuck in the filter.

Identify and remove them as soon as you notice them as this will prevent any large food particles from getting caught in the filter, which will prevent it from getting clogged and giving off a rotten egg smell.

Conclusion

When it comes to doing dishes, you shouldn’t let your dishwasher stop you from doing what you want to do. The Noshhealthykitchen is great for diagnosing and repairing home appliances and air conditioners using the latest technologies.

Apple discontinues original HomePod, will focus on mini

Apple discontinued its original HomePod after four years. It says it will continue production and will focus on the HomePod mini introduced last year. The larger HomePod offered a more powerful sound space, but the mini was very well received and clearly performs many of the tasks the larger version was given. The sound is very good (especially for the size) and it offers access to Siri, Apple’s assistant feature.

The original HomePod was an audio feat that Apple spent more than five years developing. To complete its development, the Apple team built a full development center near its Cupertino headquarters featuring a world-class development environment with a dozen anechoic chambers, including one of the largest anechoic chambers outside of academic use in the USA. I visited the center before its launch and noticed that Apple went the extra mile to source the incredibly sophisticated series of tweeters and woofers that made the audio space:

But a handful of the typical apple jelly is spread on top. Apple says its largest test chamber is one of the largest in the US, sits on a cushion suspended from the outside world, and nothing contaminates its audio clarity tests. In addition to testing the speaker’s acoustic qualities, these chambers allowed Apple to investigate and mitigate the problems that typically arise with having a long-throw subwoofer in such a small cabinet. Going even further, there are smaller cameras that allow them to isolate hum from electronics (there is a computer on board, after all) and try to isolate and control that noise so it doesn’t show up in the end result.

I found this to be one of the best speakers ever made for the home when I reviewed it in 2018. Due to the boomed base and the correct shape of the tweeter assembly inside; a specially shaped fabric cover so as not to interfere with sound quality in any way; how it sensed how walls and other obstacles were shaping the sound, and adjusted the output to compensate. He was the definition of “sparing no effort” in the speaker department.

At the time, the main complaint about the speaker was the price of $349, which was the highest price in the home speaker market, especially with built-in home assistants. Lowering the price to $299 mitigated this somewhat, but still put it at the top of the price umbrella for this class. Apple’s HomePod mini, released last year, has been well received. Our Brian Heater said it has “surprisingly powerful sound” for $99.

Apple gave Tech Crunch a statement on the end of production:

HomePod mini has been a hit since its debut last fall, offering shoppers incredible sound, a smart assistant, and smart home control for just $99. We’re focusing our efforts on HomePod mini. We’re discontinuing the original HomePod and it will continue to be available while supplies last at the Apple Online Store, Apple Retail Stores, and Apple Authorized Resellers. Apple will provide HomePod customers with software updates and service and support through Apple Care.

Existing HomePods will continue to be sold, but Space Gray is no longer listed on Apple’s website. It will continue to provide support for existing HomePods. Apple seems to be going all-in on mini-devices in the future, which could indicate its desire to fill every room with “good enough” sound rather than focus on the living room with “really amazing” sound. The HomePod itself never reached the level where it could act as a complete home theater replacement, albeit combined with its multi-speaker setups.

The HomePod research and development effort will continue to some degree thanks to Apple’s advanced audio playback systems, which led to things like Spatial Audio in AirPods. I really like the ones I have at home and I haven’t added minis to them yet. Maybe a last minute hunt is in order.
