Mia Weier is a private American creative professional who has attracted public attention through her work in the entertainment industry and her relationship with actress and filmmaker Clea DuVall. Although she is not as widely known as her partner, Weier has developed her own professional identity through work as a producer, set decorator, model, and creative director.
Information about Mia Weier is relatively limited compared with the extensive biographies available for Hollywood actors. However, entertainment databases and professional sources provide several details about her career. IMDb lists Weier as a producer and set decorator and credits her with projects including Flipping Georgia, Galentz, and Summer Qamp. She is also listed as a set decorator on Tegan and Sara’s Heartthrob: The Interviews. IMDb’s Mia Weier profile provides a record of these professional credits.
Who Is Mia Weier?
Mia Weier is an American creative professional who has worked in areas connected with entertainment, production, design, and modeling. Unlike many people associated with Hollywood, she has generally maintained a low public profile. Much of the attention surrounding her comes from her professional work and her relationship with Clea DuVall.
Public sources show that Weier has been involved in the entertainment industry in several different roles. Her IMDb profile lists her as a producer and set decorator, showing that her work has extended beyond simply appearing in front of the camera. Getty Images has also identified her as a model in coverage of entertainment and charity events.
Mia Weier’s Career
Weier’s professional career is interesting because it covers more than one area of the creative industry. She has received producer credits for projects such as Flipping Georgia, which was released in 2022, and Summer Qamp, a 2023 documentary. IMDb also lists her as an executive producer on these projects.
Her work as a producer suggests involvement with the organization and development of entertainment projects rather than simply appearing on screen. Producers can have a wide range of responsibilities, depending on the production, including coordinating creative teams, helping manage production activities, and supporting a project from development through completion.
Weier is also credited as a set decorator. One of her earlier credits is Tegan and Sara’s Heartthrob: The Interviews, a television project connected with the Canadian musical duo Tegan and Sara. Set decoration is an important behind-the-scenes part of film and television production because the appearance of a location can help establish the mood, setting, and visual identity of a project.
Mia Weier as a Model
In addition to her behind-the-scenes work, Mia Weier has appeared publicly as a model. Getty Images has photographs identifying Weier as a model at several entertainment and charity events in Los Angeles. These appearances include events connected with the Los Angeles LGBT Center and entertainment award activities.
Her modeling work adds another dimension to her career. While production and set decoration take place mainly behind the camera, modeling places a person in front of the camera. Weier has therefore been involved with both visible and behind-the-scenes aspects of the creative industry.
Mia Weier and Clea DuVall
Mia Weier is also known publicly because of her relationship with Clea DuVall, an American actress, writer, director, and producer. DuVall has appeared in numerous films and television productions and has developed a successful career behind the camera as well.
IMDb lists Mia Weier as DuVall’s spouse and records their relationship from 2015 onward. The couple have also appeared together at several public entertainment and charity events. Getty Images has documented their appearances at events including the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s “An Evening With Women.”
Their public appearances show that Weier has occasionally joined DuVall at important industry events while still maintaining a relatively private personal life.
Public Appearances
Although Weier generally avoids excessive media attention, she has appeared at a number of public events. In 2015, Getty Images documented Weier and DuVall attending an event benefiting the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Similar appearances were recorded in 2017 and 2018.
These appearances are useful because they provide documented information about Weier without relying on unverified claims found on celebrity biography websites. They also demonstrate her connection to the entertainment community through both her professional work and personal relationship.
Professional Work Beyond Hollywood
Another important part of Mia Weier’s professional background is her work with Bungalow Hospitality Group. The company’s website describes her as a creative force involved with locations and brand concepts. According to the company’s profile, Weier has been involved with the organization since the opening of its first location in 2012.
The company describes her responsibilities as including the development of new locations and brand concepts, along with creative work involving interiors, marketing assets, and other elements of the customer experience. This provides evidence that her creative career extends beyond traditional film and television production.
This side of her professional life also helps explain why Weier has worked across several creative fields. Her experience includes entertainment production, visual design, modeling, and hospitality branding.
Why Is Mia Weier Famous?
Mia Weier is known for several reasons. First, she has professional credits as a producer and set decorator. Second, she has worked as a model and appeared at entertainment and charity events. Third, she is publicly known as the spouse of Clea DuVall.
However, it would be inaccurate to describe Weier only through her relationship with DuVall. Her professional history demonstrates that she has developed her own career in creative and production-related fields. Her work with Bungalow Hospitality Group further shows that her interests and experience extend beyond the entertainment industry.
Mia Weier’s Private Life
Despite her connections to Hollywood, Mia Weier has kept many details about her personal life private. Reliable sources do not provide extensive information about her childhood, parents, education, or other personal matters. Because of this, many claims circulating online should be treated carefully unless they can be supported by dependable sources.
This relatively private approach is common among people who work behind the scenes in entertainment. Producers, designers, and creative professionals may contribute significantly to major projects without receiving the same level of public attention as actors and directors.
Mia Weier’s Work in the Entertainment Industry
Weier’s entertainment credits demonstrate how many different roles can contribute to a production. Her work as a producer places her on the organizational and creative side of projects, while her set decoration work focuses on the visual environment.
